I love mother's day, but don't get me wrong, I don't think we should spend one day out of the year telling our mother's how loved and appreciated they are. It should be an everyday thing. My mom is an amazing woman. As a child, when I'd get sick and wake up in the middle of the night hurting, my mom was always there. She'd make all kinds of homemade concoctions that would work instantly. Every time my ankles would hurt, she'd wake up and rub icy hot on my legs before wrapping them in a blanket. Every time my back would hurt, she's sit down next to me on the couch and rub my back. When I had my appendix removed, she was up all night with me. She was always there whenever I needed her, without even having to ask. Even now, whenever I am in some kind of predicament, she is always there. I can only hope I can be there for her as well whenever she needs me. This woman really doesn't even know how much she impacted my life, as well as many others. Whenever we'd go grocery shopping, or to the doctors, or really wherever, she'd always testify to everybody about her family and how God changed her life, and the miracles he performs everyday. More than once I've witnessed cashiers and clerks and even my teachers cry at her testimony! She touches everyone's heart she meets, and leaves a sparkle wherever she goes. I can only pray that I will be such a wonderful, generous, and loving mother as she. I love you mom!

I cannot stop laughing at this picture that Tanya snapped at our girl's night
Nap time with my love
Bath time! I can't handle her cuteness. I look forward to coming over every day just to love on her and give her all the kisses in the world! I have to beg to babysit haha

ReplyDeleteYour mom is very sweet and a lovely woman! I remember when we visited back in 2001(I think)... her soup reminded me of my grandma's soup and she kinda looks like her. Your mom and my grandma are cousins. Big world haha! And you look darling!
