April 25, 2015

Hi guys! I recently took a wonderful little vacation and went to Seattle for a few days. (Actually it was Federal Way and Everett, which is close enough.) I visited my little nieces Alexa and Emalynn and then I spent the rest of the week at my sister Nellie's house and hung out with her and her three adorable little boys. I love staying at her house simply because I feel so at home whenever I'm there. Nellie is so easy to talk to and open up to, and she's super crafty too! Her crochet creations are fantastic! Anyways, I recently found a bunch of little watercolor doodles I did about a year ago when I first purchased my watercolors and I decided to make prints and post them! I mean, what is the point of making art if it's only going to collect dust in your closet? I figured some of these pieces would look nicer in a happy little home.

April Showers

Hello fellow inter-web friends! It's been a while since I logged on but things have been crazy crazy. I had the flu since Saturday (it is now Thursday) and I feel better but, and there is always a but, my head still feels a little foggy. About an hour ago I was having a conversation with Bobbie and my stomach started hurting really bad, and I nearly fell out of my chair. I hobbled over to the refrigerator and had a few bites of my cottage cheese and strawberry jam doubles and then proceeded to slouch down in my chair. It took me thirty minutes of not moving before the pain and queasiness went away. Now all that is left is a slight headache at the base of my skull but I've had that all week. I'm going to ask for a few days off to rejuvenate and reboot. I've been all over the map. Anyways, I've been a busy little bee getting my hands (and clothes) messy with paint. Here are a few things I've been working on!
Messy palette

I need a new camera. Pictures really don't do it justice
Okay, the rest of these were actually done a few months ago.. I figured I might as well post them on here

And here's this unfinished little beauty.

I still have plenty more paintings that I'm working on, I'll post them when I'm finished. In other news, Maria had her baby!!! Princes Aniyah Rubanie Babak. I am soooo in love with her, she's the most precious little doll EVER!!
